Local Council Elections take place every four years. The 2022 political breakdown of Harrow's 55 ward councillors is now as follows:
In 2022 new ward boundaries came into effect, as a result of the Local Government Boundary Commission for England (LGBCE) three year Ward Boundary Review. The London Borough of Harrow is now represented by 22 wards, an increase of 1 and 55 councillors, a reduction of 8 councillors from the previous 63. "Our recommendations mean that those councillors should represent 11 three-councillor wards and 11 two-councillor wards across the council."

Our Brent and Harrow Green Party GLA candidate, Emma Wallace gained 17472 votes, coming third with 10% of the vote in the London Assembly elections on Thursday 6th May 2021. This is our best result ever!
The London mayoral and Greater London Authority (GLA) elections were held on the 6th May 2021 (postponed from May 2020, due to Covid pandemic). Sadiq Khan (Labour) was reelected as London Mayor and Krupesh Hirani (Labour) was elected as the Brent and Harrow GLA incumbent.
Green Party Brent and Harrow GLA Election results:
2021 - Candidate: Emma Wallace - 17472 votes / 10.2% of the vote (+4.6%)
2016 - Candidate: Jafar Hassan - 9874 votes / 5.7% of the vote (-1.6)
2012 - Candidate: Shahrar Ali - 10546 votes / 7.3% of the vote (+0.7)
2008 - Candidate: Shahrar Ali - 10129 votes / 6.4% of the vote (+0.5)
2004 - Candidate: Mohammad Ali - 6975 votes / 5.9% of the vote (-3.1)
2000 - Candidate: Simone Aspi - 8756 votes / 9.0% of the vote

Harrow Green Party stood eight candidates, in six wards in the Harrow Local Council Elections held on Thursday 3rd May, 2018. We are one of the most ethnically diverse Local Green Parties in the country, standing an equal split of both male and female candidates and a disabled candidate, Alex Lee, who has been selected as one of the 30 under 30 Green Party national members to lead the party of the future.
